Laura McCormack
Laura McCormack brings a rich imagination and lively energy to storytelling.  Her experience in a  variety of performance styles combines to create a unique and vibrant show
.
For nearly the past two decades, Laura has dabbled in everything from figure skating to improv theatre.  She toured Ireland with a college choir, created a one-woman Broadway Melody show for senior homes, and performed in several different musical, dinner, and children's theatres in upstate, NY.  Her work in a singing telegram company saw her entertaining guests of honor as a host of nutty characters, she posed as a Victorian champagne model at a wedding reception, and spent a fall season hooting and cheering as the high school Indian mascot.   Her passion for imagination and the human soul led her to produce a benefit variety show for Iraqi refugees in 2003, as well as write and perform a one-woman rock opera nativity for a packed Christmas Eve service.  She can accompany herself on guitar, and has continual experience with various forms of dance ranging from swing to belly dance.  Writing is one of her avid talents.

This wide variety of talents & interests creates a rare form of storytelling, where freedom and flexibility allow Laura to blend all the artforms into one.   The end result is stories that are unique and alive.  See her yourself at Laura's next telling!
