Terry Jordan
is an accomplished storyteller who has delighted audiences from
preschoolers to senior citizens. Her choice of folktales and
personal stories are empowering, educational, and entertaining.
Whether telling stories from her personal life or from folklore,
her enthusiastic style sweeps listeners into another time and place.
Terry has told stories in schools, libraries, private homes,
coffee houses, and bookstores. She has shared her tales at festivals,
conferences, retreats, dinners, and meetings. In addition to telling
here in the Portland, Oregon area, she has traveled to Washington,
California, Virginia, Massachusetts, as well as Dublin, Ireland and
Penticton, British Columbia to tell stories and present storytelling workshops.
She is currently teaching a preschool class as well as a Toastmaster's class for ages 10 - adult. She is a member of the National Storytelling Network and serves on the board of the Portland Storytellers, Guild. Terry facilitates monthly Story Coaching Sessions for storytellers of all levels. Personal: Terry lives in Lake Oswego with her husband Bob, their homeschooled son, Timothy (11) and a yellow lab named Ozzie. |
