I was introduced to storytelling some fifteen years ago and knew then and there that I wanted to be a storyteller. I grew up in a small town on the Missouri River and was keenly aware of the power of the mighty Missouri. I believe stories run like a river's current through all our lives.

As a storyteller, I navigate that current with folk tales, humorous stories, songs, personal history stories, literary works, myths and legends. I also share stories with families experiencing grief and bereavement and have presented a workshop about preserving family stories. I greatly enjoy telling stories to children and adults in schools, libraries, businesses and festivals.
