Sarah Hauser's influences include her Great Aunt Lola Belle, a Children's Librarian and storyteller, and C. S. Lewis who wrote the then 10-year-old Sarah a letter, which she still has. There's a story here! Sarah has been telling stories professionally for eight years and she delights audiences with her sense of humor and drama. She likes stories that include animals that talk, particularly mice, and folk tales from around the world. She has told at schools, camps, The Oregon Zoo and in Portland Storytelling Concerts at Kennedy School. Sarah's story of writing to C.S. Lewis was recorded in 2010 as part of the National Storycorps Project. Sarah also performs with Anne Penfound and Anne Rutherford as Storytellers Three. |
