About Us
Who We Are
We are a guild of listeners, beginning storytellers, intermediate, experienced and professional storytellers devoted to continuing this time-honored oral tradition.
Our Mission Statement
Portland Storytellers Guild exists to support the community of storytellers by advocating for their recognition, encouraging their development and passing on our cultural traditions, roots and identities though the timelessness of stories.
Most shows, workshops, and story swaps will be LIVE!

What We Do
This is what the Portland Storytellers’ Guild is all about!
We invite you to experience this magic at one of our monthly performances, discover your own storytelling skills in one of our workshops, or come to one of our free “story swaps” to find out what storytelling is all about.

-
donates funds to support the regional storytelling event, the Forest Storytelling Festival, presented by the Story People of Clallam County. We also send a guest teller to participate as an opening teller in the main program.
-
participated in the Portland, Oregon Fertile Ground event, that highlights local performing arts.
Portland Storytellers’ Guild is a
member of the National Storytelling Network.
We are a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation.
